Strategies and support for you and your loved ones Fresh ideas to help keep your EVKEEZA routine interesting An EVKEEZA intravenous (IV) infusion lasts for approximately 60 minutes. Here are some new ideas to consider while you’re in the infusion chair:

Watching TV Unwind with your favorite shows or movies

Reading Catch up on books or invite a loved one to read while you listen

Keep warm and cozy, especially your arms. Room temperature can vary, so bring or wear an extra layer to stay comfortable.

Music Listen to music playlists with relaxing songs and sounds

Meditation Try apps for guided meditations to keep your mind focused

Staying hydrated (drinking water) can make it easier to find your veins. Talk to your healthcare provider if you have any medical restrictions that limit fluids.

Podcasts Find a good podcast about a topic you enjoy

Journaling Write down your feelings or track your progress toward your goals

•  Allergic reactions (hypersensitivity), including a severe reaction known as anaphylaxis. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you get any of the following symptoms: swelling (mainly of the lips, tongue or throat which makes it difficult to swallow or breathe), breathing problems or wheezing, feeling dizzy or fainting, rash, hives, and itching.
